The Darkness 2...Underrated?

I really liked this game. Yea it was short and pretty easy (even on the harder mode) but it was sure as shit better than the first game and had a great storyline. Did anyone here play this game? If so what are your thoughts?

  1. No, but I want it badly! Definitely not sixty dollars worth though. I'm gonna wait till it drops down to 40 or 30.

  2. agreed, 60 is a little steep for a game with like no multiplayer. I think competitive multiplayer in a game like this would be sweet. Tossing car doors at fools and cutting them in half is always good times. lol

  4. Apparently you can get through it in roughly 5 hours, in which case I suppose you'd need to crank up the difficulty at least.

I liked the demo, using the demon arms in different ways was pretty cool, but I don't see it selling very well with such minimal features from what I've read and heard at least regarding the full game.

I'll try it when the price drops, I'd never pay full price for it though, waste of money in my opinion as the price will drop greatly in a few weeks time, I guarantee it.

  5. I thought the multiplayer in Bionic Commando was really cool. It's just too bad that it's online community died out so quickly. Just goes to show if it's not a game like not COD or Halo, then it's multiplayer probably won't last...

  7. I thought the game was great but yeah it was short and the areas felt linear compared to the 1st. But I love the writing in the game and the gameplay was fun as shit. I hope they make it better in the future sequel.

  8. It's a short and sweet game, but it's one of those games that you will remember. Besides I love ripping people apart.
